It's a technical term, don't you know, :).
These machines dispense chocolate, crisps, and the like by maintaining them in the recesses of a number of horizontal corkscrews. When you have crossed the silicon with silver, the corkscrew rotates, driving one of the vendees forward and off of its end into a collection tray.
- A man or woman with a trained squirrel could have a field day looting one of these things.
- Tragically, if you mix footstuffs on one spiral, the frontmost products, the ones visible, will always tend to be the least desirable ones as they are the ones it takes the longest to sell.
- Sometimes the foodstuffs get stuck in the twirlybits, which is really annoying. Fortunately, unlike PinballMachines?, TwirlyTypeVendingMachines don't tend to be fitted with Tilt? detectors.
